On this trip we booked into a cruise of the eastern Mediterranean with the Holland America Cruise Lines vessel the MS Koningsdam (Dutch for “King”).
The cruise is called 23 Day Ancient Empires & Mediterranean Legends and ran from September 13 to October 6 2019.
We travelled with Neil’s 2 sisters; Janis & Leanne along with their partners Andrew & Clinton.
We began our trip with 3 days in Singapore then travel to Rome to board the MS Koningsdam in the port of Civitavecchia, where the cruise begins and concludes. Following the cruise the 3 parties split up and went in different directions.

This trip was with a group of 16 other Bailey caravans for 3 weeks in March 2020. Similar to the Tagalong19 trip we did in 2019; but this time we started in Broken Hill NSW and traveled through outback South Australia ending up in Port Fairy (Victoria). It began on 12 March 2020, but was heavily impacted by the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic to the point where it wasn’t completed as originally planned.
